Spiritual Life

Our college is located in a country setting. This, combined with manual labor and simple food, aids in keeping us in good health. Daily chapels and Bible classes help keep God’s Word fresh in our minds. Prayers offered before every class remind us all of the importance of continual communion with our heavenly Father. Staff and friends, who are all striving to have a closer walk with God, encourage us to press forward. Outreach gives us opportunities to selflessly work for others.

And while none of these things, of themselves, create spiritual life, they are of great help to those who sincerely want to walk more closely with God.

“True education means more than the pursual of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. It prepares the student for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.” Education, p. 13.
