Rest and recreation are important in order to maintain balance in the life. There are many ways and places in and around Hartland where one can enjoy time in nature doing such activities as walking, biking, canoeing, etc. We are located just 40 minutes from Shenandoah National Park, and there are numerous other parks and lakes in the surrounding counties.
