COVID-19 might have made witnessing a little harder, but you can still send magazines through the mail!

A few weeks ago, Teresa, our sales and subscription manager, received this voicemail message: “Hello! I recently received your magazine Can We Trust the Bible? and I’m wondering if there’s a Sabbath-keeping church nearby.” The caller had read the article, “Ahead of Their Time,” about the Bible’s health laws and how they could protect against pandemics. The article mentions statistics about how those who practice biblical Sabbath-keeping, among other things, have better health than the general public.
Teresa gave the caller information for a nearby church. This caller was a recipient of a large mailing of over 30,000 copies of Can We Trust the Bible? sent in May to zip codes across the United States on behalf of churches and individuals. The magazine also offers Bible studies by mail and a link for online Bible studies through Amazing Facts.
We’ve now received a number of requests for mail-in Bible studies. We suspect that many more have requested online Bible studies.
In Oregon, a Seventh-day Adventist postal worker who was unfamiliar with Last Generation found a number of copies of Can We Trust the Bible? in the reception area trashcan. Unbeknown to her, a fellow member in her area had sponsored the mailing, and box holders who weren’t interested had thrown them out unread. Curious, she took one home. The more she read, the more she was convinced that it was published by Seventh-day Adventists. The next morning, she arrived early, rescued the rest of the discarded copies, and took them to her weekly Bible study group to share with other members looking for good witnessing material!
Ray, a literature missionary from Massachusetts, worked with his local post office to identify specific route numbers in his community to which he wanted to send Can We Trust the Bible? We are now partnering with Ray to send copies route by route as he can finance them.
Another literature missionary in South Dakota read Ray’s story in an online blog* and was inspired to do the same with 5,000 names in her area! We can organize zip code mailings to your area for less than 75 cents a magazine, including shipping. Mailings of 5,000 or more magazines qualify for discounts.
