Loma Linda Campestre minstry in Colombia joins Lord, Send Me.
We are proud to announce the addition of a new Lord, Send Me project. Loma Linda Campestre is a ministry started by Hartland graduate Fredy Castro and his wife Connie (former Hartland staff) in 2011. Their ministry focuses on helping people with their physical, mental, and spiritual health. They work from home, manufacturing wholesome foods for sale, providing therapeutic massage and hydrotherapy treatments to people in hotels and private homes, and teaching young people simple methods for relieving disease and restoring health according to biblical principles. They live just outside of the city of Villa de Leyva, Colombia. Villa de Leyva has 25,000 inhabitants and ranks second in Colombia for tourism, attracting nearly 700,000 tourists annually.
This makes it a great location for sharing the gospel with diverse groups of people. Read more about their work in this edition of Hartland Alumni Affairs.
In addition to this new project, we have another change to announce. We will no longer be producing Hartland Alumni Affairs as a separate newsletter. Instead, Hartland Ministry Report will begin featuring Lord, Send Me articles in its pages. In addition, articles about the work that Hartland alumni are doing are already regularly featured in Hartland Ministry Report and will continue to be. You will still be able to donate towards the various projects.
