

Norbert Restrepo has served as a senior administrator of the Hartland Institute from 2011-2020. His passion is to provide young people with enhanced educational opportunities based on a solid Biblical worldview and to equip them to serve as missionaries who can effectively share the good news of the everlasting gospel in a modern world. Previously he served as founding president of Las Delicias Institute providing leadership and supervision of the educational, health, agriculture, media, food services, and outreach programs from 1996 to 2011. He also taught the Bible, Christian history, music, health, and science classes, and served as a lay pastor of the campus church.
Norbert grew up working side by side with his missionary parents doing mission work and completing his high school education at home. His father worked in denominational and lay ministries as a pastor, administrator, and theology professor. His mother, a medical doctor, works as a physician with an emphasis on lifestyle and preventative medicine.
Norbert completed studies in Bible Instruction in 2002 and in Health Education in 2006. He graduated from Hartland College with a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Evangelism and he completed a Master of Arts degree in Leadership-Higher Education Administration at Andrews University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership.
