Ivonne Restrepo grew up in a Catholic home. At age 19 she was given the book Desire of Ages, which changed her life completely. Ivonne has been laboring in ministry ever since: prison ministry, counseling, and working with young people. Opening her home to families has provided her opportunities to share the gospel in practical ways. Before joining the faculty of Hartland Institute in 2011, Ivonne worked for Las Delicias, a missionary training school in Colombia for 18 years. She is a certified life and health coach and coach trainer. She served as the dean of women, a lifestyle counselor, and a counselor for young people. Currently she coordinates and teaches college classes and leads out in health outreach and prison ministry for women. She also enjoys helping on the farm. Ivonne is the wife of Norbert Restrepo and mother of two daughters.
