Our Philosophy

From his very creation, man was placed in a garden and given the responsibility of working the land and keeping it. This was the occupation of he who was created “a little lower than the angels” of he who was the crowning act of all of God´s creation. To the first man was given the dominion of all the earth, he was its rightful ruler and he found dignity and nobility in the working the land and not only this but he experienced development of the physical, mental and moral powers of his being. We believe that even now in our day, under the changed conditions of the earth through the curse of sin, though attended with anxiety, weariness, and pain, the work of cultivating the land is still a great source of development and happiness. This work promotes industry, purity, firmness and cultivates the character of man. One of the founding fathers of America, Thomas Jefferson wrote the following words “Agriculture is our wisest pursuit, because it will in the end contribute most to real wealth, good morals, and happiness.” By cultivating the land one can enjoy great freedom, independence and satisfy many of the basic needs of humanity.
