Natural Farm

Farm and Economy

Our farm currently delivers produce to 51 restaurants in Virginia and Washington D.C. through a food company called Fresh Links. The owner of Fresh Links, Mollie Visosky, enjoys the experience of picking up naturally-grown vegetables from our farm every week and sees the potential that we have in enlarging our production capacity to produce high-quality fruits and vegetables.

The more food our farm produces, the more self-sufficient we can be at Hartland. Utilizing agriculture is also a step towards economic stability in a world plagued with economic instability. By using the farm as an industry, we are able to provide for some the financial needs of the institution. By planting seeds in the ground and tending them with honest and diligent labor, God multiplies those seeds in miraculous ways.
