Lifestyle changes made bypass surgery
unnecessary.
Seven stents which had not resolved my heart
problems, blood sugar out of control, cholesterol level nearly 200-my
doctor thought my case was hopeless without surgery. A triple bypass
was next on the list.
My doctor knew about the benefits of
lifestyle changes, but he didn't think I could do it. However, as a
friend of ours suffered through a bypass surgery and its aftermath, I
determined I didn't want that for myself, so I was really motivated.
Thanks to Hartland Lifestyle Center (HLC), I proved my doctor wrong.

for fifteen days. A fast? I can’t say “yes” or “no” to her. If I say “yes,” I will be miserable. But if I say “no,” what’s going to happen to my health? I finally replied, “We’ll have to work it out one day at a time.”
